Travel Agency Project

Students in 2nd Year Secondary have been carrying out a project in their Oral English subject.In groups, they had to imagine they ran a travel agency and had to choose two destinations for summer holidays to recommend to their customers.

Once they had chosen their destinations, they had to organise a pack of holidays in which they included pictures, different types of accommodation, most important places to visit and different trips around the city. Every group presented their travel agency to the rest of the class showing them what they had planned.After this, they made a short video giving their five top tips for going on holiday.

By doing this, they learnt about other cultures and about how to organise and plan a holiday. Also, they improved their expression and their fluency. It was good fun and they enjoyed it.
