Learning culture

Have you ever thought about why English people drink so much tea, what is exactly Gaelic football or what is the difference between Great Britain and the United Kingdom? Because that is exactly what our 3rd Year Secondary students have been finding out during this week.
They have been looking for interesting information about specific countries where English is spoken, to create really creative and original posters later, which have been explained to the rest of the classmates, so everybody could learn all the curiosities which have been found.
The result has been really satisfactory, since they have been practicing not only the language but also learning--while having fun--the culture of some English-speaking countries, and we have all learnt a lot of new things related to these English communities.
